Submission Guidelines
We encourage any author with a female-oriented story to submit their manuscript. We want to see the whole manuscript, partially so we are sure it is a completed story, partially because we feel that’s the only way to truly judge its merit. Once you have sent it in, we will acknowledge we have received the document, and that it will be treated confidentially. It can take up to a month for us to get around to reading your submission and getting back to you. When we accept a manuscript, you will get your contract right away. After returning the contract to us, we will set up your crowdfunding campaign. To see more about this process, please go here.
What We Are Looking For
Female-oriented manuscripts in any genre that are 40,000 words and over. They can be written by anyone of any gender, ethnicity, religion or background etc. Manuscripts around 80,000 words are preferred. We are specifically looking for adventure stories where our heroines can truly shine. Our stories celebrate diversity in gender, sexuality, social class, religion, age, and everything else. Niche gets bonus points if handled correctly.
Submission Guidelines
We require every manuscript to be rigorously self-edited, beta-read, and self-edited again. It does not need to be professionally edited, but we want it polished. Format it in Times New Roman, font size 12, 1.5 line space, with no page numbers. We only consider English-language manuscripts, in .pdf or .doc(x) format. On the first page(s) please provide a summary of the story, to include the ending. If your manuscript includes any minorities, tell us about them.
