Advantages
Our goal is to offer our authors the very best package for publishing their hard work: the lowest costs, and the highest royalties. We make use of a mixture of tools and strategies, taken from both traditional publishing houses and indie publishing options, to make this possible. When you publish with us, you get:
Services:
- Professional developmental and copy/line editing for your manuscript
- Proofreading once the copy/line editing stage has been completed
- A book cover (print & e-book), designed by a professional
- Social media banners in the style of your cover
- A e-book and print inlay formatted to standard
- Distribution through various online and print channels
- Quick process; we aim to have your book published within six months, instead of the eighteen months that is the traditional publishing standard
- No hassle; you deliver a self-edited and beta-read manuscript, we create your bookâyou won’t have to look for a reliable editor and cover artist, and you won’t have to wrestle with Createspace, IngramSpark, or any other distribution channel
Marketing:
- Our pre-sale method encourages you to build your author platform, a tool you’ll carry forward after the campaign
- Top marketing efforts prior to and during your crowdfunding campaign, and even after your book is published
- Amazon category optimization as long as you keep your book under our management
- Guaranteed reviews through the distribution of advanced reading copies
- The potential of reviews by book bloggers we contact for you upon release
- Access to our author newsletter, which includes genre-specific information about marketing opportunities, awards your book qualifies for, and other possibilities to market your book
- Access to award contests indie publishers are excluded from
Financial & legal advantages:
- The copyright of your book remains entirely with you
- We only require the exclusive right to publish and sell your book for one year after you hit your funding goal
- We don’t take a royalties percentage. After Amazon takes its 30%, or IngramSpark takes its cut (this is variable, but will be stated in your contract), the rest is yours, minus $0,25 cents per book for administrative and marketing purposes
